MSc Danko Runić
Danko Runic was born in 1982., In Belgrade. After Philological High School, with major in Spanish language and literature, he finished the fourth year of high school as an exchange student in San Antonio, USA. He obtained a degree in Political Sciences, Department of International Relations at Richmond University in London (2004). Part of the studies were organized in Florence and Rome in the fields of Italian history, politics, art and Italian language. He graduated from a Master program in the field of democracy and human rights, in the University of Bologna as a scholar of the Government of the Republic of Italy (2005). He attended the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia. He worked in several civil society organizations on projects related to economic development, democracy, human rights, media freedom, youth policy and environmental protection, as well as in an international organization on a project of cross-border security cooperation. From 2008. untill 2012. he worked as CEO of the Agency for European Integration and Cooperation within the City Council. Danko Runic was a Member of the Organizing Committee for the preparation of Belgrade's candidacy for the European Capital of Culture for the year 2020. He speaks English, Spanish, Russian and Italian.
